If you have been privileged, modesty aside, to read some of my previous articles, you know how much I love to recycle! In general, I think it is a pity to get rid of something if it is still in good shape or has an alternative use!

As the saying goes: If life gives you lemons… make lemonade! And if the street rips your tires, make chairs, a playground for kids or flower pots! It is always best to find something positive in all the negative things that happen to us. And it is always great to recycle and do family activities together!

Today, I will tell you what you can do with old tires. You will need fabric, paint, thread, lots of enthusiasm and creativity!

Since spring is here, I am sure you are working in your garden! This is an excellent place to use those old tires as flower pots or flower beds! They can also be used to separate plants that don’t get along very well.

Another idea is this: Use them exclusively to decorate your garden or back yard. I prefer color options, so always use water resistant spray paint because they will be exposed to the elements.

And if you are very creative and skillful, you can create decorative figures with your tires!

Another idea is a bicycle rack. I love this concept! Simply align (side by side) half sunken tires in the sand.

If you have small children and some space in your garden, you can make fun games your children will really love!

Old style hammocks, climbing activities or even sandboxes! There are thousands of other options available. All you need is a little paint, some cord and you are good to go! These games will bring hours of fun to your children!

You can also make furniture, including a nice, soft cushion on the inner ring. Try different designs, from garden furniture, with cord or raffia for the interior of your home, your teenager’s room or even tables like the picture shows.

From the think tank, I have one more idea for you: Make a cute bed for your pet!

What do you think about these ideas? Creative, right?
