Researchers are increasingly calling out the direct connection between our mood and the foods we consume. There are two key hormones that are directly related to our mood and our desire to undertake things and to keep us active: endorphins and serotonin.  See how some of the foods listed here can affect these harmones.

They are a guaranteed source of natural energy. Full of nutrients, fiber and a low-fat product that allows us to eat several servings a day without feeling guilty. Bananas are rich in vitamins, minerals and trace elements.  They promotes an upbeat, happy mood and is a quintessential soothing to our nervous system.

#3 PINAPPLES:

Pineapple stimulates the production of serotonin. At the same time, it calms anxiety down and eliminates any restlessness. High vitamin C in pineapple acts as an antioxidant and calms the nerves and also serves as a ‘natural pill’ to fall asleep quickly.

Chillies contain a compound called capsaicin which researches have found to help deal with frustration and depression.  These are hot to taste – so, watch out!  Combine it with sour cream to soothe it down.
