Happy Thanksgiving YaSabee´s!

- Uncooked flour tortillas-pack of 12 or 24 (depends how many you want to make)
- 2 cups of sugar/or powdered sugar-I recommend the regular sugar
- Cooking oil
- Cookie cutter-shapes you want or have
- ½ cup of Cinnamon (add more to taste)
- 10 inch Pan
- Spatula
- Paper towels
- Plate
Step 1: First, grab a couple of tortillas and place them on a paper towel. I’m making 10 buñuelos, you can make more of less. Grab the cookie cutter, press on a tortilla, and cut into a shape. Do this with all 10 tortillas and you can do any shapes you want if you are using more than one cookie cutter.
Step 2: After the tortillas are cut in their shape, pour cooking oil on the pan enough to fill the entire pan and cook on medium heat.
Step 3: Next, place two cut out tortillas in the pan and let them fry, depending on the shape and size of the tortilla you might be able to only fit two in t he pan. Let it fry for 30 seconds.
Step 4: Flip tortillas to other side, you will know the tortillas start to fry once they start to bubble and the brown spots appear. This should take 30-45 seconds on each side depending on you stove heat, keep an eye, they should be ready when they are brown.
Step 5: Once the tortillas is brown, place it on the dry paper towel to get excess oil off.
Step 6: Place the cinnamon and sugar on a plate and mix them together. Sprinkle the mix on top of the fried tortillas on both sides.
Step 7: Place the tortillas on a separate nice plate. You can accompany this desert with ice cream, caramel syrup, fruit or any topping of your choice.
This desert can last up to 1 ½ weeks and you can eat it anytime of the day. Enjoy! – Ide
